Abstract
The stadium funding debate is an issue in many major cities across the United States. The recent construction of the new Yankee Stadium has garnered the same controversy as well. This study looks at the impact public funding for the stadium had on New York City. Using a survey and data analysis, statistics were obtained regarding the impact of the construction. In the end it was determined that there were no significant benefits from using public funds to build the new Yankee Stadium.
