My English narrative follows a young man and woman in high school as they discover themselves and what it truly means to be a result of the media. In this instance, we analyze smoking and, more detailed, Marlboro cigarettes and marketing.

These three different stories were written as assignments for a Creative Writing course I took my Sophomore year

led by Doctor Jane Collins at Pace University.

Assignment 5

In this piece, I was required to write a short story based on a childhood memory. I chose

to recount the story of an old abandoned store front that became a popular teenage hangout.

Prisoner 268-A

Prisoner 268-A is a story about a prisoner who, during a conversation with another prisoner, remembers

how he landed in jail. The story shows that Prisoner 268-A's "crime" was that of a noble man and less

of a horrible criminal.
