I have always enjoyed the subject of English. Growing up I liked to read and analyze literature. This translated into the classroom as English became one of my favorite subjects. There was one issue. I had difficulty writing. I never had trouble expressing my thoughts. But, I did have problems translating those thoughts onto paper in a coherent and concise manner. It wasn't until I entered Pace and took my first English course that I learned how to write. Once I took my second English course I felt a sense of pride with my ability to write. Since then I have taken great pleasure in writing. In this portfolio I have shared you will some of favorite pieces that I have written for my English classes.
