Associate Professor of Adolescent Education.  Areas of teaching include: curriculum design, content literacy, teacher research, foundational areas for middle school education.  Related research and professional interests include: new teachers, teacher inquiry and inquiry learning, teacher performance assessment, teacher education and social justice.  I am also the Initial Certification Coordinator for Adolescent and Childhood Programs in the Pleasantville School of Education and Director of a NY-state funded grant for professional development.
