Hello! I have been working as a Librarian at Pace University since April 1988. I have lost track of how many titles and job descriptions (and offices!) I have had in that time. Technology has changed so much and so quickly and impacted how the library works and serves users, that it is impossible to get bored in this field. There is always something new to learn. While my current job title is Assistant University Librarian for Collection Development, collection development is only a part of what I do.  I conduct instruction sessions for students at all levels and work on related instructional support projects.  I also do reference work at the information desk and online via chat reference (as do many of our librarians); I am a Blackboard librarian for a few classes as well. Amongst other things, I also do new book selection in Anthropology, Criminal Justice, and Sociology, and some contemporary social issues. I am a member of several Library teams including: Strategic Planning; Assessment; and Digital & Electronic Resources (DREAM team).
