About me

I love doing personality assessments. Here are what a few of my favorites say about me. They are spot on in most details!

Keirsey Temperament Sorter ENFJ Teacher-Idealist

Even more than the other Idealists, Teachers have a natural talent for leading students or trainees toward learning, or as Idealists like to think of it, they are capable of calling forth each learner's potentials. Teachers (around two percent of the population) are able - effortlessly, it seems, and almost endlessly-to dream up fascinating learning activities for their students to engage in. In some Teachers, this ability to fire the imagination can amount to a kind of genius which other types find hard to emulate. But perhaps their greatest strength lies in their belief in their students. Teachers look for the best in their students, and communicate clearly that each one has untold potential, and this confidence can inspire their students to grow and develop more than they ever thought possible. True Colors  BLUE

Blue represents calm. Contemplation of this colour pacifies the central nervous system.  It creates physiological tranquility and psychological contentment. Those with Blue as a Primary Color value balance and harmony. They prefer lives free from tension... settled, united, and secure.

Blue represents authenticity and a sense of belonging, and yet, when friends are involved, a vulnerability. Blue corresponds to depth in feeling and a relaxed sensitivity. It is characterised by empathy, aesthetic experiences and reflective awareness.

Blue is the color of inspiration, sincerity and spirituality. Using Blue to relax will encourage feelings of communication and peace.

The Animal in You   penguin

 http://www.animalinyou.com/profile.php?a=penguin

Now you see it, now you don't. Aggressive yet gentle, outgoing but shy, stable yet flighty - everyone sees the penguin in a different way. It's that black and white thing: the penguin only reveals the side that it wants you to see. So whether you like this darling-devil or not, you have to concede that it's a fascinating and enigmatic individual.

Penguins are birds condemned to live out their days on the ground. Unable to fly, their excess energy has no outlet save their creative talents and emotional outbursts. Penguins are poetic, artistic, and intellectually gifted, and as writers penguins have no equal. (Text from The Animal In You website)

Skills

I love people. I love to learn new things and then share what I have learned with others. I like to look at things closely and ask lots of questions as my learning unfolds. I'm a critical thinker with both a very detail-oriented side and a big-picture visionary side. I think I am a really good teacher.  I enjoy working with all kinds of people.

 Wow, that's quite a few "I" statements!

Overall Reflections

My Goals

Using ePortfolio, I want to be able to share information about me and about my work and interests with others.  I also want to be able to help others see how they can tell the world about themselves and what they do through their own ePortfolio.

On a grander scale, my goals are to remain curious and always keep learning and growing. Laughing
