Jennifer N. Ross

I am pursuing a Master of Science degree in Publishing at Pace University, with an anticipated graduation date of December 2012, specializing in magazine publishing. I am highly interested in working for a women’s interest or news magazine. Currently, I am working on my Master’s thesis focusing on how advertising and editorial features found in women’s magazines affect female body image.

My publishing background and experience consists of several editorial internships I’ve held over the past few years atSoap Opera Digest & Weekly, BizBash, and Latina magazines. During my time there, I had the opportunity to write web and print features, along with sidebars. I have a strong passion for writing, specifically about television, film, entertainment news, trends, art, music, and popular culture. I write about whatever preoccupies my mind on my personal blog, So It Goes, and self-publish articles on Suite 101. Eventually, I would also like to pursue writing for television.
