Faculty Assistant

  • Position description: Faculty Assistants through the FACES program work with a faculty member in facilitating a Civic Engagement course, which entails a specific number of community work hours. The Faculty Assistant maintains all course records, correspondence, and facilitates several class discussions.
  • Employment: Duration of the Spring 2014 academic semester
  • Qualifications: 3.0 GPA, as well as being free of any judicial sanctions within the university throughout the course of employment

Dyson Society of Fellows

  • Associate Fellow of the Adelia Williams Class of 2013
  • Inducted: May 25th, 2013 
  • Requirements: 3.5 GPA and acceptance of application after participating in the Dyson Society of Fellows Annual Meeting and presenting undergraduate research

Setters Leadership Program (SLP)

  • Program description: The Setters Leadership Program (SLP) is a premier, three-tiered program tailored to increase the leadership skills and abilities of students on Pace University's Pleasantville campus
  • Member since: August 13th, 2012
  • Current position: Tier 3; Mentor for Tier 1 students
  • Requirements: 2.5 GPA, as well as participating in six (6) leadership workshops per semester and completing the "Tier Transition" requirements at the close of each tier of the program

Pace University Panhellenic Conference

  • UPC Description: Pace University's Panhellenic Council governs all five (5) of the sororities on campus, which includes two (2) international sororities and three (3) local sororities. This council makes all executive decisions on behalf of all members of the council and serves as a direct liasion between the University and its UPC sororities.
  • Position: President (2013 - 2014)
  • Position requirements: The President is responsible for overseeing each Executive Board member and ensuring the safety of each organization. Additionally, the President works closely with the Assistant Director of Greek Life and the National Panhellenic Conference to move the council forward progressively.
  • Qualifications: 3.0 GPA and a member of one (1) of the two (2) international sororities at Pace University

Pace For Kids Dance Marathon

 

 

  • Event description: Pace For Kids, or P4K, is a philanthropic event to be held annually every fall on Pace University's Pleasantville campus. This dance marathon is held to support the children of Maria Fareri Children's Hospital at Westchester Medical Center, a part of the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, in Valhalla, New York. The event is completely organized by Pace University students, and the first ever Pace For Kids Dance Marathon will be held on November 22nd, 2013.
  • Position(s): Executive Director and Marketing Manager
  • Position descriptions: As Executive Director, I oversee all committees and students to ensure that all jobs are being done efficiently and that progress is being made. As Marketing Manager, I direct the Marketing Committee and create all marketing pieces, including the logo shown left.

Phi Sigma Sigma Sorority

  • Organization description: Phi Sigma Sigma (ΦΣΣ) is an international sorority founded in 1913 with over 60,000 initiated members and 115 collegiate chapters. Its core values include lifelong learning, inclusiveness, and leadership through service. Its philanthropy is the National Kidney Foundation and each year, Phi Sigma Sigma participates in the NKF Walk.
  • Chapter: Delta Omega (ΔΩ) at Pace University
  • Initiated: April 6th, 2013
  • Current position: Philanthropy Chair
  • Past position(s): Fundraising Chair
  • Membership requirements: 2.5 GPA, ten hours of community service per academic year, consistent involvement in two (2) campus activities, and participation in two (2) chapter committees

SOAR 2017: Orientation Leader

  • Position description: Orientation Leaders (OLs) serve as a positive representation of Pace University during the summer orientation sessions, guiding new students and assimilating them to the Pleasantville campus. OLs also assist and support the orientation program beyond the summer, participating actively in all first semester activities, like Week of Welcome and Homecoming.
  • Dates of employment: May 29th, 2013 - conclusion of Fall 2013 semester
  • Qualifications: 2.5 GPA with at least 30 completed credits and good judicial standing

Lambda Sigma National Honor Society

  • Organization description: This academic honor society is rooted in the ideals of leadership and service. Members perform service on campus while maintaining a high grade point average.
  • Qualifications: 3.5 GPA, as well as standing in the top 35% (academically) of the freshman class as of Spring 2013

First Year Experience: Peer Leader

  • Position description: Peer Leaders serve as mentors and role models to first-year students in their University 101 (UNV 101) classes, working with them in their college transition and providing answers to any questions they may have about the university. Peer Leaders also work closely with professors to create lesson plans and class activities.
  • Employment: Duration of the Fall 2013 academic semester
  • Qualifications: 3.0 GPA, as well as being free of any judicial sanctions within the university throughout the course of employment

Alpha Lambda Delta National Honor Society

  • Position: President (Spring 2013 - 2014)
  • Position description: The president is expected to maintain communication with the entire honor society, organize and preside over meetings, and attend two weekly meetings--one with the society advisor, the other with the entire executive board.
  • Qualifications: 3.5 GPA, as well as standing in the top 20% of the university's entire freshman class as of Spring 2013

Pace Decides: Mock Election 2012

  • Event description: The Pace Decides: Mock Election was an event entirely created, organized, and executed by me from October 24th - 25th, 2012. Members of the Pace University community used iPads to "vote" for their choice of presidential candidate to see how our school stacked up with the nationwide results.
  • Why? I wanted to get involved on campus very early on in my college career, and when I got this idea in September of 2012, I wanted to really give Pace University a way to be more involved in the presidential election, and for me to get involved with my university.

Pace University Cheerleading

  • Program description: Pace University cheerleading is a noncompetitive, Division II (NCAA) sport. Membership entails attending three (3) weekly practices and actively participating in university events like Homecoming and Preview Weekend, as well as cheering at all university football (Fall) and basketball (Spring) games.
