I do not think he really focused on the idea that we were dependent on technology. I think he just said that because of how frequentwe use it we are alteringthe way our brain thinks.

Yes, I do agree with Carr because of the way I live daily. I use my phone and computer to research because I know that the information I'm looking for will be there quickly. I think we are forgetting the fundamental importance of society. It's nice to read an article like this to remind society of what really is happening. Yet I do love the advancement in our technology today but it as its cons. How I reflected based off the information Carr pointed out it came across to me as if we depend on the Internet...he explains why.

I agree with Carr, he's a bit pessimistic about it but he makes a valid point. and i agree with you on your reflection on the creativity crisis. By the way I also have the dictionary.com app greatt way to learn words everywhere anytime :)

I did not really think he said we depend on the internet but now that i think about it i do depend on the internet and he did kind of say we do depend on the internet especially Google.

I feel like Nicholas was more focused on the effect of technology to our cognitive functions rather than our dependency upon it. Although we do depend on technology a lot more heavily now.

Jus t fantastic how you can see that math applies in your field where many would fail to see how mathematical precision is so important.
