This is my second year working for the Pace University Athletic Department.  I began my journey last September, and completed an internship with their external communications team, and decided to stay on as a part time employee for the department.  My duties for the athletic department range from in a variety of tasks, including; writing game day pamphlets, updating the schedule, keeping track of the scoreboard, filming games, helping to film Pace Rewind, and even on occasion dressing up as the universities mascot.

Pace Rewind Work

This is one of the first Pace Rewind episodes' that I filmed.  My duties for Pace Rewind were; to make sure all of the camera work was properly working, to film the segment, to make sure all the audio levels were correct, and helped the talent if they struggled with some of the players names.  Pace Rewind is a run down of all the happenings in Pace Athletics over the past week.  The program runs weekly, and provides highlights and statistics in the world of Pace Athletics.  Inside of this episode, I was the camera operator for the Women's Soccer and Football highlights as well.

Womens Soccer Player Spotlight

This is an example of a some writing that I had to do for the Pace Athletics Website.  This is a feature on the Women's Soccer Teams goalie, who won an award that week for her excellent play.

The 2013 Homecoming Football Game Promo Video

In my first, and last, acting job, I played T-Bone, the universities mascot, for a promotional video for the 2013 Pace Football Homecoming game.  It was a great experience for me and, although the costume was very hot, it was great to interact with all of the students on campus, and help them show some pride in their athletic program.

Blog Post

Another one of my tasks while working for the Pace Athletic Department last year, was to interview current athletes, and then put their answers together into a blog post.  This post is from Andy Fritsch, who was a captain on the Lacrosse team.  This was one of my favorite jobs to do, because I loved learning about all of the other student-athletes, and how they go about their sport.
