Through editing my ePortfolio, I benefit a lot. It gives me a chance to gain new insights into myself by observing what I have done, and introspect myself about what I need to improve. Looking back on the past is the key to knowing if I am on the right track. Although I’m happy with my progress during these years, I regret for the time I wasted before. I think I didn’t use my time wisely to make myself get ready for the future. My social skills are still weak, and I don’t have enough work experience since most of my peers already have tried many kinds of work and have rich internship experience. I cannot tell how far I am behind others, but hopefully, I come to understand my shortcomings and realize it is time to strive for my career. Hence, I post my favorite quotation on my introduction to remind myself of working hard.

ePortfolio is an excellent outlet to show my character, my competence, and my ability to others since I can add detailed information to it. People can have a fundamental understanding about me after looking through my stuff. At the beginning, I was confused about how to add my stuff since I even couldn’t add an image gallery. After struggling with it for a few days, I finally figured it out and was familiar with the basic operation of the website.

Even though it may be a profession-oriented website, I think it is also an ideal tool to find some friends. All the stuff we post on ePortfolio is informative so that we can know whether someone shares the same values or has similar experiences with me. In the end, I do believe that keep building and maintaining my ePortfolio is effective way to increase my motivation to improve myself.
