For now, I am still studying in the Pace Global Pathway program. Though most courses I take are about English learning, they are more advanced, and many academic skills are included. I have been learning a lot of communicating, writing, and social skills since I attended these classes. By enhancing my English knowledge and academic skills through these courses, I am well prepared for the following semesters.

Communication Skills: In this course, I learned about general communication manners and social etiquettes. My professor was kind, and she had a great commitment to helping us improve our capability of thinking and problem-solving.
Public Speaking: In this course, my teacher taught us how to do presentations in public. I practiced my presentation skill many times during the class and had fundamental knowledge about body languages, gesture, facial express, intonation, etc. My oral English ability was improved a lot by taking the lesson.
Academic Skills: I learned how to write essays in APA format. When it comes to APA format, nothing is trivial. My professor was strict to our assignment, so we were supposed to finish our homework correctly in APA format, and every mistake should be correct. Thanks for my professor, I got used to APA format in a short time.
