My long term goals are to graduate from Pace University with a degree in Communications and hope to work for one of the larger news channel networks as a television anchor. I have started to feel a attraction to the world of PR and now Marketing so I plan to be able to find a career that I could do a balance between the three different areas if my dream of a news anchor does not happen.

I feel that stregths and weaknesses are good to know about a person, not to know what they can not do but what they can do and what they should strive to do. In my situation I believe that I am a dedicated person to whatever the task I have at hand. I will make sure it gets done and not just thrown together as a poor excuse of a project. WIth that being said I have a weakness when it comes to working in groups because I do not like having to be responsible for others work or actions as a representation of my own. For example, if i had to do a 4 person class project for a grade, I would be very nervous to see who I work with becasue if a group member is slacking and I do not think they are pulling their weight I would first be upset with the person and then feel the need to do that part of the project myself so I know that it is done to the best of the groups ability.

Another stregth I believe I have is my personality. I like to think that I give everyone a chance and offer my friendship to people. I choose my friends carefully because I like to trust them but I do like to be friendly and welcoming to everyone. I do not like people who aren't warm and are stuck up for no reason. I think it is rude and disrespectful to not give everyone a chance. It does not hurt to be nice.
