Maria Lane

Hello there!

My name is Maria Lane and I am a graduate from Pace University's Pleasantville campus with a Bachelor's of Science in Biology. I have extensive of background knowledge in the sciences as well as laboratory experience through working as a lab technician and in undergraduate research. I was engaged in breast cancer research with my faculty and research advisor on campus Dr. Nancy Krucher. Moreover, I have served as an RA, held multiple leadership roles on campus, and most importantly as a resource and role model for all of the student body. Currently, I am working at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia in the Oncology Department within Dr. John M Maris' laboratory with a focus on the disease neuroblastoma. My future plans are to attend medical school to become a pediatric oncologist.
