San Giorgio Maggiore al Crepuscolo is an Impressionist painting by Claude Monet. Painted in 1908, oil on canvas, on the Venice, Italy mainland, the piece gives an original view of San Giorgio Maggiore.

The Professional Me
Hi everyone! My name is Jacqueline Saviano. I just graduated from Pace University with a BA in Media and Communication Arts and a minor in Art. Writing and drawing are my absolute favorite things to do. My work has been published in VOX, Pace's Arts & Literary magazine. Also, for the past few years my drawings and paintings have been displayed in Pace's annual Art Show, which is held every spring. Not only have these opportunites given me the chance to showcase my creativity, but they have also given me a real sense of accomplishment.
Adding to my love of the field is the internship I was fortunate to get at ArtsWestchester in White Plains, New York. I learned so much about editing, advertising/promoting, writing, and art. I even had a chance to help run their annual ArtsBash, where artists from all over the county showcase their work at a gala event for members and donors to the organization. I also wrote website announcements and maintained the site list of performers for their annual Music In The Air program, where musical acts perform for free all across the county throughout the summer. The Music in the Air launch event was a breakfast and press conference, which I helped organize and orchestrate. This was another great experience.
I also interned at MeritDirect, a direct-marketing company in Rye Brook, New York and in pursuit of my Masters in Communications at Pace. As I delve deeper into the Communications industry, I will need to have experience in marketing. I also decided to take graduate courses because I know, despite the many things I've already learned at Pace, that there is so much more to learn. The more educated I am in Communications, the more successful I will be in the future.
As I start this next chapter of my life, while seeking out a career and pursuing my Masters, I look back at Pace University fondly. Here, you will get a taste of what I've accomplished in my time at Pace and what makes me, me! Enjoy
