Creating this e-Portfolio was challenging yet rewarding. I enjoyed configuring the pages and setting them up the way I wanted to. For those wondering about value of ePortfolios, it gives colleagues or future partners and professionals a more in-depth look into my work experiences, writing samples, and who I am as a person. One specific feature I like about the e-Portfolio is the fact that you can set each page's privacy settings to what you want. I think that this is a great feature for those who want to keep some of the personal pages private, and the work and education pages public to showcase their accomplishments.

Being able to add your own personal touches to the pages makes the e-Portfolio website a great tool for job seekers. I personally like the fact that I can upload multiple writing samples, as well as pictures, to show my accomplishments, and my life outside of work. I think that being able to show a little bit of your personal life shows that you have more depth, making those more likely to work with you.

Not only did I discover a lot about the ePortfolio system itself, but I discovered a lot about myself as well. To be honest, I knew what I wanted to do after I graduated from Pace, but uploading my resume and all of my writing samples really made me take a deeper look into the Public Relations industry. Reading my writing samples again, and looking through my favorite academic materials and assignments really showed me how much I truly enjoyed my past and present work experiences in Public Relations. I hope that others will spend some time viewing my pages, as I spent a lot of time making them!
