Hi! My name is Elena Roye, thanks for visiting my page. My objective is to dive into the digital media world and expand my knowledge of digital marketing. I pride myself on helping businesses and non-profit organizations who need assistance getting noticed. I work well with start-up companies, as well as developed ones that want to sustain their success. With my knowledge of film (pre and post production) I am able to produce short and long promotional or informational videos. I have produced short documentaries in Haiti, New York City, and I even filmed in Cuba! I was only lacking one thing. How do I market these videos to get them noticed? It was then that I decided to enroll in my graduate program, MCVA, at Pace University. Pace has set me up with video, public relations, social media, and marketing skills to help perpetuate both my career, and others. I thank you for taking the time out to come to my page, and hope you enjoy your visit!

Short term Goals:

- Graduate Pace University's MCVA program with honors

- Land a job with a TV network, or video company post-graduate school

- Continue to network and increase my clientele for video production, social-media management, and web-design. 

- Score amazing grades on my comprehensive exam

Long Term Goals:

- Eventually have my own business offering a number of marketing services

- Be inducted on a non-profit organization's board  

- Continue working with current businesses and non-profit organizations

- Buy a house, and a BMW e36 M3

 I feel that this e-portfolio will help me showcase myself in ways that a resume or even a website can’t do. The process itself has taught me about my strengths, and weakness. It allowed me to reflect on all that I have learned, produced, written, and accomplished. The process has taught me about organization and documentation. I also got to work with a completely different interface than what I was used to. I feel that this e-portfolio can help me advance in my life both academically, in my career. I have learned that I need to learn how to deal with other interfaces, templates, and sites because it is great to be equipped in all platforms. I feel that I could have added more content about my academics, but feel that my handshake account associated with Pace is a great tool for me to use to compensate for the lack of academic showcasing on my e-portfolio. I feel that my work experience page had the most content, along with my visuals (video and graphic samples). I am proud of the way I have set up my e-portfolio especially compared to what it was when I presented. I feel that I quickly adapted the suggestions made to improve my e-portfolio. My weakness was defiantly organizing my artifacts, and explaining them to the best of my advantage. I feel that I have re-invented my e-portfolio, and am proud of the final product. Overall, I really enjoyed this assignment and will continue to edit and update my e-portfolio.
