MCA 670, Website Design

For my graduate MCA course, Developing and Designing Effective Web Communication, I developed, designed and completely coded my own website.  This was my final project for the course.  I used Notepad++ to code HTML.

The URL is:

Below is the website map I drafted before I started to actually code the website.  It was a part of my final project proposal.

Oral Presentation - South of Nowhere

In my Fall 2008 semester at Manhattanville College I took an oral presentation and communication course.  For this course I did an informative speech on the television series "South of Nowhere".  The television series combats the tough storyline of homosexuality, violence and many other challenging issues.

That year I sent that very speech to the director, Tom Lynch, to thank him for such an inspiring television series (which came to an end due to controversy).  To my pleasure, he wrote me back and really enjoyed it!  Recently, I spoke to Mr. Lynch about my ePortfolio project and he enthusiastically agreed to submit a letter, upon my request.

Thomas W. Lynch, CEO of Tom Lynch Company, has produced an array of kids television shows for over 2 decades. A few of his television series are "The Secret World of Alex Mack", "Caitlin's Way", "Class of 3000", "South of Nowhere", and his newest television series on Nickelodeon "Bucket and Skinner's Epic Adventures".
