Skills
I like to say that I am very determined and motivated. I have been involved in many programs and clubs that involve teamwork and leadership. I also consider myself to be exceptionally organized. I believe that organization is key to success. I am working on enhancing my skills with event planning now that I work with Westchester Magazine as the Marketing Assistant. I have experience with customer service so I have great social skills and can work great with others.
Take a look at some other pages of my eportfolio and you can see what else I have done! :)
Personality Type
Extroverted - Sensing - Feeling - Judging
ESFJs are conscientious helpers, sensitive to the needs of others and energetically dedicated to their responsibilities. They are highly attuned to their emotional environment and attentive to both the feelings of others and the perception others have of them. ESFJs like a sense of harmony and cooperation around them, and are eager to please and provide.
ESFJs value loyalty and tradition, and usually make their family and friends their top priority. They are generous with their time, effort, and emotions. They often take on the concerns of others as if they were their own, and will attempt to put their significant organizational talents to use to bring order to other people's lives.
Delta Phi Epsilon
During my sophomore year at Pace I decided to join a Greek Organization. I went through the New Member Education for Delta Phi Epsilon and could not be more proud of myself today. It was one of the best and biggest accomplishments I could have done for myself during such a hard time in my life. I have made the closest friends and became part of a family that I will always have no matter what. Sisters are for always, and this group of girls is so special to me. As a sister I worked up to my potential and learned even more about myself. I was able to expand my knowledge and experience as a leader and sister. We work together to raise awareness for two great philanthropies- Cystic Fibrosis and Anorexia Nervosa and Associated Disorders (ANAD). We work together to support the Pace Community with fundraisers and community service. As a whole, we were all extremely involved on campus.
I was fortunate enough to hold the positions as:
- Special Events Chair
- Secretary
- Philanthropy Chair- ANAD
- Vice President of Academic Affairs
On my other pages, you can see that I have posted pictures and examples of my work and time as an active sister. I am definitely a proud Alum and would do anything to go back and start over.
Maria Regina
This may seem crazy that I have my high school on my college eportfolio...BUT high school for me was one of the best times of my life. In fact, I was so involved that one of my teachers who I became very close with contacted me around my sophomore year of college to come back and give a witness talk. I was a Peer Minister senior year where we were leaders in the Catholic community. We worked with the freshmen in helping feel welcome, worked on food drives during Thanksgiving and Christmas, planned retreats for each class and created special presentations around Easter. Here is a presentation where I gave the group of peer ministers how much Maria Regina impacted my life and helped me get to where I was at the time in college.
During my undergraduate time at PaceU, I was honored at many honor society inductions after becoming a sister of Delta Phi Epsilon my sophomore year. Below I have listed the societies I am a member of:
- Gamma Sigma Alpha
- Beta Gamma Sigma
- Omicron Delta Kappa
- Silver Gavel Society
- Pace Top 100 Scholars
- Golden Key Honor Society
- Graduated Lambda Cum Lade
