Camp Counselor
Above are some pictures of my years as a camp counselor. I loved my group of girls and feel that I taught them so much over the 4 years that I was with them. Pictured are only 3 of the years I was with them at the Annual Summer Talent Shows where I choreographed a dance for many groups of children.
I am a sister of the social sorority Delta Phi Epsilon. We are a national organization that is located at other school across the U.S. For the three years that I was active, I was very involved in events, philanthropy, and many more. I found my home away from home, and continue to stay involved as an active alumna to be there for support whenever I am needed.
Greek Life: UPC
During my junior year I was Secretary of the University Panhellenic Council. I worked with an entire executive board who was in charge of the social sororities on campus. We worked as a team to help the organizations come together and influence more people to join Greek life on campus as well. As secretary, I took notes during the meetings and posted them on OrgSync so that everyone eventually had access to them.
I danced at On Your Toes Dance Studio for 16 years. Pictured is the Senior Company for the opening number. This was the year before my last. Dancing as always been a major part of my life and I hope to eventually pursue a small side career with dancing in my near future.
P4K Dance Marathon
Pace University holds a dance marathon called Pace 4 Kids in November. Last year I had the honor of choreographing the Morale Dance for it. The fundraiser is to help raise money for Maria Fareri's Children's Hospital. We always say that "We dance for the kids who can't!" I was lucky enough to have a team of 13 morale dancers by my side. I worked on the dance during the summer and then taught it to them once the fall semester started so we can showcase it the day of the event. This event consists of nonstop fundraising, and of course dancing for 8 hours! It is always a great event and we always raised more than $18,000 for the hospital and it was such a great feeling.
