Overall Reflections
The first time I used ePortfolio was during my freshman year in public speaking. The assignment was to place our resume on the page and sell yourself on why you were the best person for the job. I never would have thought that I would continue to work and continuously update my ePortfolio. While working on this assignment I realized that this was not just a site to place my resume on. I saw that I was able to make resume truly come to life. I love how I can better explain and enhance my resume this way. A resume is not supposed to be long but is supposed to highlight ones accomplishes. Through ePortfolio I can further expand my resume. I can add pictures, video clips, and a little explanation, to help an employer see why this is on my resume. I can show employers what I have done during my academic career, as well as, showing them who I am as a person. As I continue my studies at Pace I will continue to update my ePortfolio, so that I am able to show employers not only my academic accomplishments but also who I am outside of a classroom. I love how I was able to create a page that specifically shows off me personally and not the person I am inside a classroom. EPortfolio has allowed me the opportunity to showcase my academic career as well as some of my personal life. I know that as I continue as a Pace student I will always work on my ePortfolio, because I hope to have many more amazing opportunities during my next two years here.
