Overall Reflections

This portfolio has honestly become such a joy to create. When I began this project, I figured that I would add some extra text boxes, throw on my resume, and then hope that employers don't look at it. However, as I have started to redesign it, my eportfolio has become something that I am proud of. Having been at Pace University for three years now, I have files upon files of classwork sitting on my laptop, but after the semester finished, no one saw it. Now I have something that can properly display my work.

Starting off as a Freshman, I had all of these unrealistic ideas about what college would be like. I thought that I would pass all of my classes with flying colors, and people would be recognizing me for my great work every other day. Obviously, life is not like that. But as I put together my eportfolio, I looked back at all of the amazing opportunities I have had since enrolling in college. I realized then that I do not need people constantly recognizing my great accomplishments. I am proud of my accomplishments, and creating this portflio has made me realize just how far I have come in three short years.

I have changed as a person, both personally and professionally. I believe that my eportfolio shows this growth, and the chain of events that has brought me where I am today. Everything on the next few pages has changed me for the better. The conferences, schoolwork, and amazing people listed in these few pages have inspired my personal growth. I have become a better student, leader, and person because of this, and this portfolio shows everything that made it possible.

"I don't believe you have to be better than everybody else. I believe you have to be better than you ever thought you could be."
