Bread & Butter Public Relations: Social Media Intern

breadbutteremblem.jpg

Bread & Butter Public Relations is a Public Relations Firm focusing on food, beverage, hospitality and travel.  During my time at Bread & Butter, I was an Intern for their Social Media team.  In doing so, I had the opportunity to create post text, organize and fill in editorial calendars, community management and much more.

I earned invaluable work experience here, and I am happy to say I can apply it to my future endeavors. This internship specifically is what made me want to pursue Public Relations as an occupation, as well as, search for a Master's program that includes Public Relations and Social Media.

Bookstr, is a Digital Media Company that is focused on Books, recommendations and creating a community for book lovers everywhere. My time as a Social Media Intern entailed creating social media posts for the company across all platforms and schedule them accordingly. These platforms include: Facebook, Twitter & Instagram.

As a Social Media Intern there, I am happy that I had a lot of free rein at this company to express my creative side and brainstorm what is best for the company to continue to succeed in the online community.

Bobi NYC : Social Media & Public Relations Intern

Bobi NYC is a Digital Media company dedicated to public relations, social media, content, graphics and more. During my time at Bobi NYC, I was an Intern focused on social media and public relations efforts. Over the course of the semester, I had the chance to manage social media pages for clients and maintain follower growth.

I had the chance to create content calendars for clients, pitch lists around podcast hosts interested in collaborating with clients, post text for social media messages, formal proposals, revamping client decks and community management. I gained experience that prepared me for the world of public relations and social media. I had never created a social media audit before this internship experience, so slowly learning and adapting this content for clients benefited me in the long run.

Below are PowerPoints that I could not fully show to the best of my ability in Google Slides. Below are the full presentations.
